Welcome to Campervan Crusin'... We are UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Welcome to our new Campervan/Caravan Website :)
From way back in the old, tent in the back yard days, we have slowly worked up to pop-tops, then to caravans and finally to the present Campervan. Feeling most comfortable in the Camper, we have the freedom to reach the places you would never dream of taking a caravan or motorhome, yet complete comfort from the elements. Please follow along on this journey as we learn about new places and see new things :)

Hopefully we may encourage you to get out and see this wonderful country we call Australia :)

Beginnings

It started back in 2000, buying a tent and setting it up the caravan-park across the road from Dreamworld. The kids and I had a great time on the rides and amusements. We told ghost stories till the late hours. Woke up the next morning to the pouring rain, swearing never to do it again, but alas, the bug had bit :) We then baught a CUB, CAMP-O-MATIC Camper trailer. We had so much fun repairing, patching and fixing it, evey weekend for weeks. Finally took her on the maiden voyage to Warwick. We soon moved on to the canvas sided caravan, then to a poptop caravan but finall settled on the Campervan.

We will talk a lot about Campervans but we will touch on Caravans and camping too along the way :)

Our Vehicle

Now traveling in a 1998 Hiace Campervan, decked out with watertank, bed, kitchen, gas cooker, and many other accessories, I look forward to each holiday, each break away, picking a new destination each time. Hopefully, through this website, we can share some of our adventures, show some photos, share some tips, hints, advice and meet some fellow travellers along the way. If you feel something needs to be added, or I messed something up....
